NIGHT OF COLOR!
Host a night of color event in your salon
Boost your business and enter to win a trip to NYC!
Every salon has them: Color-shy clients who – for whatever reason – haven’t yet booked a haircolor service. Boost your haircolor business by inviting those clients and their friends to a Night of Color event in your salon!
Hosting an event is a fun way to:
* Encourage existing haircut clients to book a haircolor service
* Gain new clients through the invitation to “bring a friend”
* Give your business an overall boost
* Showcase your stylists’ haircolor skills and ability to create customized looks
* Be eligible to win a trip for 4 people to NYC!
How it works:
* Host a “Night of Color” invitation-only event in the salon after-hours
* A Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday typically has the highest attendance
* Each stylist invites 1 existing non-color client with a friend
* Offer one-on-one haircolor consultations for each attendee and answer client questions
* Color and style live models in advance to showcase various haircolor looks
Hot Tips:
* Attendance is usually higher when invitees can bring a friend to share the experience
* Ask stylists to volunteer their time in order to enhance their stylist-client relationship
* Mark stylists off the schedule a few hours prior to the event to ensure everyone has time to get ready
* Distribute invitations via email, postcard or in-salon flyer two weeks before the event
* Create a budget and timeline for the event and closely monitor that you follow them
* Create gift bags for each attendee. Include product samples, product literature and a special gift
* Provide light snacks and refreshments
* Hold a raffle for 1 free haircolor service or free Color Extend products
* Promote an exclusive salon offer for a future haircolor service with incentive to pre-book that night
o Incentive 1: Percentage off the first haircolor service
o Incentive 2: Complimentary Redken Chemistry treatment with first haircolor service
